Matt McQueary

Vice President, Acquisitions

Matt is a real estate investment executive with approximately 14 years of experience across single-family rental and build-to-rent platforms. He currently serves as Vice President of Investments at Invitation Homes, where he helps oversee BTR and Portfolio acquisitions, construction lending initiatives, and capital allocation strategies.

Matt began his career at Colony Capital, working on early institutional SFR investment efforts focused on long-term ownership and community stabilization. He later served as Director of Acquisitions at Tricon Residential, leading SFR, Portfolio, and BTR acquisitions across West Coast markets.

 Throughout his career, Matt has built and scaled investment platforms while collaborating closely with development, capital markets, and sustainability teams. He holds a BS in Management and Finance from Arizona State University and serves on the HomeAid Board with a strong commitment to supporting housing stability in his local communities.
