Kim Renee Funches

Managing Director, Commercial Real Estate – Homebuilder Banking

Kim Renee Funches is a managing director within Wells Fargo’s Corporate & Investment Banking’s (CIB’s) Commercial Real Estate group.   She is a coverage banker for CIB’s Real Estate Banking – Homebuilder Banking business.

In her role, Kim focuses on client coverage, origination, structuring, strategic advisory and leveraging Wells Fargo’s products and services to enhance client relationships for Homebuilders/Developers in the Central U.S. and Eastern Florida markets.  In addition to her client coverage role, Kim sits on the Double Dimensions/Women Go Far steering committee which focuses on further engaging Black/African American and Hispanic women across CIB.   Kim has immense passion for the next generation of bankers and is active in the recruitment and mentorship of junior-level talent. 

 A 36-year veteran of Wells Fargo, Kim has held leadership and management positions across a variety of business segments including Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Consumer, Small & Business Banking and Corporate Risk. Within these various segments, Commercial Real Estate has been the primary focus over the past 30 years.  

Kim earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with a concentration in finance from Rutgers University.  She supports community organizations with a focus on children, affordable housing, and food insecurity. Kim has also served on several boards for non-profit organizations.  Kim and her husband live in Prosper, TX and have a son and a daughter.
