Colin Byrne, CPA is a Director of Credit and Asset Management with Trimont focused on residential real estate, land banking, and housing-related investments. Originally from Long Island, New York, Colin began his career in multifamily and mixed-use development in the Northeast before relocating to Dallas, where he now oversees a national portfolio of residential assets, working closely with homebuilders, developers, institutional investors, and lending partners to support housing development across the United States.

A Certified Public Accountant, Colin holds both a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Carolina. His experience spans acquisitions, entitlements, accounting, development management, homebuilding, and asset management, providing a well-rounded perspective on the residential real estate industry and the capital that supports it.

Passionate about advancing housing solutions and strengthening communities, Colin is proud to support HomeAid North Texas and its mission to help individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, basketball, running, skiing, and coaching youth lacrosse. Most importantly, he loves spending time with his dog, Riley.
